Chameleon Rose Bush pruning?

I have a chameleon rose bush. Planted it early spring. It has buds but not blooming. Its going to get cold here soon, frost soon. I live in Charlotte NC area. So when do I prune it? before winter or after?

I live in NC too. I would wait until spring. It is too cold now.
For fall pruning Oct. is best.
Wait until your last frost date in the spring and it will do well.
    Peace
